Go The Extra Mile



Here in the beautiful Canadian province Prince Edward Island, we are enjoying some beautiful weather. With this nice weather comes the desire to get outdoors! However, we don't always have the extra time to plan an outdoor excursion with our busy schedules. So here are a few ways I like to keep active and catch some fresh air on a daily basis!

1. Pack your walking shoes! Try parking a litte further away from work or your daily appointments if you have a little extra time. You'll be surprised how those extra few minutes of walking can help you clear your head and get your blood moving! 

2. Dust off your bicycle! I love my bike. I use it all the time for transportation and recreation! It doesn't need to be too fancy or expensive, as long as it's in good working order. 

This is my ride! I painted it and put it together myself (I was a bike mechanic many years ago). The purple and gold combo isn't for everyone, but I think it's pretty slick!




Don't forget to purchase a bike lock and helmet too!

So try incorporating these activities into your day. Who knows, maybe those few extra calories you burn might be the stepping stones to a new you!
