My favorite type of cardio is without a question HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training). HIIT is accomplished by performing intervals of (you guessed it) high intensity exercises, and brief periods of rest.
To start off you might want to try exercising for 15 seconds, and then taking 45 seconds of rest. Once this becomes easy, up the exercise to 30 seconds, and reduce the rest periods to 30 seconds. AND, if that still wont satisfy your craving to sweat your sorrows away, try upping the exercise to 45 seconds, and tear down the rest periods to 15 seconds!
This circuit takes five minutes to perform. So, perform it three to four times to get to 15-20 minutes.
Just remember to start off slow and build up your ability!
