What you'll need:
- 1 cup of almonds
- 2 tbsp honey (agave nectar works well too)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp white sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
What to do with all of this:
Preheat oven to 375.
Toss the almonds in the honey until they appear to be fully coated. Combine the dry ingredients and sprinkle on the almonds and toss lightly again.
Spread the almonds out on a cookie sheet lined with aluminium foil (shiny side down) and bake for 10 minutes. Once they are done remove the aluminium foil from the cookie sheet (so the heat from the pan doesn't over roast the almonds).
Let them sit for 30 mins if you can!

Have you tried making larger batches?
ReplyDeleteDo you need to heat the honey to make it easier? My honey is room temp and doesn't seem to toss very well.
ReplyDeleteYou could microwave it for a few seconds to liquify it a bit if it's solid honey!
