Easy Hunger Fighting Salad



This salad is really easy, cheap, and delicious. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

What you'll need:

  • 1 can of corn (low sodium if possible)
  • 1 can of kidney beans (again, find the one with the lowest sodium)
  • 1 can of flaked tuna
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • Baby spinach

What to do!

First rinse all of the canned goods. Combine everything but the spinach in a large bowl. Now you just need to toss about 1/4 to 1/3 of it on a bed of spinach, and enjoy yourself a fibre and protein packed salad!

I like to add some tomato to mine. You could add any of your favorite vegetables to it too!


It's best to keep this recipe separate from the spinach. Just combine when you're serving!
