Salad?

I haven't posted about salads yet. People have asked what they can do to spruce up their salads. So, here is a great salad idea!





What I used: 
  • Baby spinach
  • Yellow pepper
  • White mushrooms
  • Avocado
  • Sliced chicken breast (seasoned with salt and pepper)
  • Strawberries
  • Raw almonds
  • Cranberry goats cheese
  • Balsamic vinaigrette (1 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1/2 tbsp dijon mustard, 1/2 tbsp honey, and some fresh cracked pepper)
Now, I should just tell you to throw all of these ingredients in a bowl (or on a plate) and go to town. But, Be wary of a few of the ingredients. The avocado, almonds and cheese are all very high in fat, so use them in moderation. 





I hope this inspires you to try something different with your salads!
