Red wine is full of antioxidants. Antioxidants prevent the oxidation process in which reactive particles (free radicals) harm healthy cells.
Also, if any of you know of the Blue Zone Diet, you'll know the importance of alcohol! But, the blue zone diet isn't some fad diet, it's more of a study by National Geographic of the areas of the world that have the highest number of people who live to be over 100 years old!
