This is my SPICY Blackened haddock. Not for the faint of heart.
What you'll need:
- 1 haddock fillet
- 2 tbsp of Sriracha Sauce (It seems to be available at most grocery stores in the asian food section. Any hot sauce of your choice would work too)
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
What you'll need to do:
Start by coating your fillet with the hot sauce. Then, mix the dry ingredients in a bowl and spread on the fillet.
Now we're ready to cook!
You can pan fry it covered on medium heat for 10-15 depending on the size of the fillet. OR, you can wrap it in aluminium foil and BBQ it for 10 minutes around 400 degrees.
I always default to the BBQ in the summer.
Enjoy!
